  I put quite a bit of effort into this project, from going out to fish camp and participating in the institute, to reading about Cup'ik culture and laws affecting their way of life.

Did you reach/exceed your plans and goals? Explain. (See Portfolio Contract and Vision Page) Is the final product different from your original plan? If so explain how and why.

I reached the goals I set for myself and my final product is what I planned it to be. 

How might you apply skills or information beyond this project?

 In your life as a student?

 I will have skills to do hands-on things that involve working with people in the community to learn.

In your life of present or future work? As a citizen?

 I know a lot about a culture that is different than mine and my people skills have improved. I have seen for myself how the government affects subsistence and the way of life for Alaska Natives, I will be able to understand how a law will affect their lives.
