What will you know or be able to do that you didn't before? What major questions do you have? I want to learn about the philosophical thoughts, ways of thought and the philosophers themselves throughout history. I want to be able to have a better understanding of the world and have the groundings to make my own philosophy. I have many, many questions, so I've decided to find out how other people have answered them so I can, someday, be able to answer them on my own. |

What will your activities be? How will your time be spent? *I will write summaries of each philosophy taught and put them chronologically in an outline for my reference. I'll use books, the internet and lecture videos to research and find the information I'm looking for. *I will read books written about philosophical issues and write summaries, responses, quotes, or pictures *I will keep a journal of my thoughts *I will make a chart of questions and how different philosophers answered them, and my thoughts on the questions (if they are adequate). |

Why you want to do this? What's the value in it for you or for society?: I am very interested in philosophy and I have always wanted to learn much more, I need a chance to figure out the world on which we live and hopefully at the end of this project I shall have the groundings for my own philosophy. |
