Describe the Sample. What I did, who I worked with:
I read A Midsummer Night's Dream,
taking note of lines that described characters, and that were pure word play. I
also read a few articles of criticism and developed my own. This is my summary
and brief criticism of the play with the notes on character development and word
play.
Why I am including this as a sample:
What I learned about myself as a result of the experience related to the sample:
I learned
more about Shakespeare's language, and I understand the word play, it isn't just
pretty wording it means something. The plot makes more sense and I was
able to understand the play better; the overall picture, the individual
struggles, misunderstandings, and interweaving plot lines.
What abilities or interests this sample reveals about me:
It reveals my better understanding of the play and what I found to be important.
