Portfolio
Summary
for
Shakespeare's
Comedies
What did you learn?
I learned about Shakespeare's language, life and comedies. Shakespeare has many
intricate puns in his play, now I understand them. I am able to think critically
of Shakespeare (and other authors) and put it into words. I can dissect
the plays and look at each plot line. The final paper
helped me get all the thoughts I had about the plays as I read them onto paper,
and I can compare different plays; parallel aspects, overall themes,
etc.
Total hours spent on
this project
83.5.
Evaluate the effort you
made:
I am satisfied with my effort, even though I could have handled my time better.
How do you feel about your final product?
I feel pretty good about my final product, this is my first complete electronic
portfolio, and I believe that it is a good start. I found ways to make it more
interesting, and not just a bunch of papers.
Did you reach/exceed your plans and goals?
Explain.
Yes I did, I completed everything that I said I would on my why
page and EALR page.
How might you apply skills or information
beyond this project?
In
your life as a student?
Now Shakespeare is as complicated anymore, if I take some kind of class
involving Shakespeare I have a head start. I have a sense of a different kind of
writing, different language. Writing the summaries gave me a feel for doing that
and the final paper helped me to write my ideas and criticism.
In
your life of present or future work?
It will help me become a better writer and a better Shakespearian actress.
In
other goals you have for your life?
I
love writing and reading Shakespeare gives me ideas of what great plays are and
how they a written. The papers give me practice for writing papers, and getting
ideas through to the reader.
